Trusting God's Plan Doesn't Mean You Understand It Yet The Not-Knowing Is the Hard Part, Not the Faith You can believe God has a plan and still lie awak...
You can believe God has a plan and still lie awake at midnight with no idea what it is. Both of those things are true at the same time. Trusting the plan and understanding the plan are two completely different jobs, and nobody hands you the second one on schedule.
That gap is where most women get stuck. Not in whether they believe, but in the waiting, in the part where you have to keep walking a road you cannot see the end of.
And it is heavy. Anyone who tells you it is easy to keep going without answers has not actually done it.
The version of faith that gets sold to women is tidy. Everything happens for a reason, it all works out, just trust. That version skips right over the part where it does not feel fair at all.
You did the right things. You showed up, you prayed, you carried more than your share, and the thing you asked for still has not come. You are allowed to name that.
Trusting God's process even when it seems unfair does not mean pretending it feels fair. It means you cannot see the reason yet, and you keep going anyway. That is the harder, truer version, and it is the one that actually holds up on a bad Tuesday.
There is a specific quiet that lands on certain evenings. The house is too still. You handled the goodbye, you kept your face steady, and now you are standing in a kitchen wondering how you are supposed to trust a plan you cannot make any sense of right now.
That is exactly the moment this is written for. Not the moment where it all makes sense, because that one takes care of itself. The one where nothing lines up and you still get up in the morning.
Part of the whole reason OK Tease Co. exists is so a woman standing in that quiet feels less alone in it. You are not weak for not understanding it yet. You are in the middle of it, and the middle is where understanding is always the fogglest.
Here is what trusting an unseen plan actually looks like on a regular day. It is not some grand leap. It is one small choice at a time when you have no proof it is going anywhere.
It is drinking the water. Moving your body for a few minutes even when your head says do not bother. Answering the email, packing the lunches, showing up for the thing on the calendar.
None of it feels like a plan while you are doing it.
Then you look up months later and realize each of those tiny, unglamorous choices was you walking the road. You could not see where it went. You walked it anyway, and it took you somewhere.
When my head is loud and the answers have not come, moving my body is the thing that quiets it. Not because it changes anything on the outside. Because it changes what is happening in me.
Your body is the only temple you get, and taking care of it is a stress reliever before it is anything else. When I take care of myself physically, my head starts to settle almost right away. That is the door into the mental part, every time.
So on the days the plan makes no sense, I do not sit in the not-knowing waiting to feel better. I lace up and move, and the trusting gets a little easier from there. It is not magic.
It is just the thing that works.
There is more waiting for you on the other side of what you are in right now. I do not say that as a slogan, because slogans are cheap when you are the one hurting. I say it because I have lived the turn.
The truth underneath it is simple. Life will turn around for you the minute you start turning it around for yourself. The plan you cannot understand yet does not require your understanding to be real.
It requires your feet to keep moving.
You will not always see the reason. Some seasons you get the answer years late, and it shows up better than the one you begged for. Some seasons you never get the full why at all, and you find out you were built to carry it anyway.
Women were made for this. Not the easy version, the resilient one, the one that comes back stronger after every setback. God knew what He was doing when He made the woman, and He built you to keep going in the fog.
You do not get the option to step back. You keep going as a mom, as a woman, as a whole person, whether or not the plan has explained itself.
So stand tall in the not-knowing. Trust the process, trust yourself, trust that the road goes somewhere even when the next bend is out of sight. You are stronger than this season, and you were strong long before it started.
